Founded in 2008 by James, a devoted father and entrepreneur, it started with a simple idea: put people first. He turned an old restaurant into one of Huntsville’s first express car washes and built a reputation for great service, fair pay, and giving back—like free washes for first responders.

Even when big chains moved in and road construction made things tough, James kept showing up for the community.

After his unexpected passing in 2021, his two sons stepped in. They stayed true to their dad’s values, turning down corporate offers and choosing to rebuild from the ground up. Today, Blue Express features state-of-the-art technology—without losing the hometown feel.

Fun Fact: The picture of the Japanese maple tree is the original one James planted when he first opened the car wash in 2008. During the renovation, they preserved this one Japanese maple in honor of their father, planted right by the United States flag as you drive up to the guide-on to begin the car wash experience at Blue Express.
